Biography
Rebekkah is passionate about getting justice for the whole person. Where the insurance industry sees capital, she sees context in each client’s stories, wounds, and the right to be made whole. She sees personal injury law as more than just a numbers game. Instead, it is a bridge to dignity, restoration, and accountability. Whether advocating for those harmed by negligence behind the wheel or insurance industry misconduct, Rebekkah treats each case with care and integrity, ensuring that no one becomes just a claim number in a spreadsheet. For her, justice is personal because pain is personal, and healing must be too. Rebekkah is a wife, mother, and an animal lover; she balances her professional pursuits with her love for family, advocacy, and the natural world.
After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2012 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History, Rebekkah authored *Separate but Equal: How Public Single-Sex Education is a Viable Educational Option for United States Public Schools* in 2011. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law in 2015.
Rebekkah’s legal career began as a successful Family Law litigator, a Senior Trust Administrator, and as a legal aid attorney. Her experience also includes working for the Washington, D.C., Office of the Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division.
Currently, she serves as chair of the South Dakota State Bar Legal Services Committee and as a member of the Civil Pattern Jury Instructions Committee. Rebekkah is a published author and is admitted to practice in South Dakota state courts (2016), U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota (2017), and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Dakota (2024). She is also literate in alternate dispute resolutions, including certifications in Parental Coordination and mediation services.
